Darco, Inc began developing this unique underground water storage system for installation in the rugged mountains of Colorado in 1988. After obtaining a patent on the way these modules fasten together into a single monolithic tank, commercial production began in 1994. Over the next few years a full line of unique accessories was developed to allow this system to be used for nearly any water storage application. In 2010, FreeWater Systems, LLC was formed to take over the polyethylene portion of Darco, Inc and the plant was relocated to Lakewood, CO. FreeWater Systems now manufactures and distributes the patented OcTank system all over North America and the Caribbean. Our staff will be happy to help you with a complete design and quote for your project. All of our systems are shipped as a preassembled package directly to the jobsite for simple installation.
